Concept
This website and the products offered are presented through a collaboration between The Global Arts Group, Bungie and Microsoft. The goal is to bring the art and world of Halo into your physical space. Through the incredible screenshot functionality found within the Halo 3 game, there are virtually infinite variables of content that can be created. And now, using this amazing and unique content you can build and purchase your own work of Halo art.

This service is powered by The Global Arts Group. While our background is in publishing premium quality fine art products for museums and other art buyers, we are now bringing this focus on quality to the Halo Universe. All paper prints and canvas items are fine art giclées printed on the highest quality substrates available. Below we will describe the printing process and some of the product details to help you better understand the premium quality products offered through haloscreenshots.com.
Imaging
Before any Halo screenshot enters into our production cycle, it passes through our Image Lab. Here designers will further balance the colors of the screenshot, and then pass the digital file through a series of filters enabling us to enlarge the file 5-10 times its original size without any visible loss of image quality. This process is what takes the screenshot to the level necessary for us to create and publish these awesome images.
Fine Art Giclée
All printed items are giclées (pronounced zhee-CLAY, a French term meaning "spray of ink"). A Giclée is a high-resolution, high-quality reproduction individually printed on a special large format printer. These beautiful digital reproductions are virtually unparalleled in quality and range of color, and are at the leading edge of fine art printmaking.
Inks
Every item we offer is printed on large format printers using a state-of-the-art inkset. Our archival 12 color pigment inkset provides the largest color gamut of any commercial ink ever developed. In addition, this ink has a color permanence rating in excess of 100 years (when properly cared for, and displayed in acceptable lighting).
Paper Prints
All paper media types are premium fine art grade substrates. The Halo screenshot paper items are published on 100% acid free 235gsm archival, premium matte paper.
Canvas
Our canvas products are published on high quality artist grade canvas. This 350 gsm, acid-free, archival canvas has a tight, natural weave which maximizes image quality, while also revealing the texture of an artists canvas. All canvas items receive a UV protective treatment. This top coat protects the image surface from scratches and abrasions as well as ensuring the color and vibrancy of the image does not fade over time.
Framing
All framed items are custom framed in our own production facility located in Austin, Texas. The mouldings used are premium wood stock. We also use acid free archival matboard (when selected) as well as a premium acrylic glass on all framed print items. We do not use glass on framed canvas items.
